Injectable form in Cats: Swelling at the injection site, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, salivation, sleepiness, and temporary loss of appetite may be seen. If your pet has a large number of tapeworms, they may pass out with the feces. Usually, however, they are digested, and will not be seen. If your pet experiences an allergic reaction to the medication, signs may include facial swelling, hives, scratching, sudden onset of diarrhea, vomiting, shock, seizures, pale gums, cold limbs, or coma.
